NCERT (National Council of Educational Research and Training) is an autonomous organization under the Government of India, established in 1961 to develop and promote quality education in schools across the country. It primarily designs and publishes textbooks, educational materials, and curriculum guidelines for schools affiliated with the CBSE (Central Board of Secondary Education) and other state education boards that follow its recommendations.
